SQUIDOO UPDATE!
Squidoo has been purchased and phased out by Hubpages.com. There are some changes, many for the better, but you can still make money writing online for Hubpages.com much as you could with Squidoo at one time. Be sure to read the training guides if you decide you want to do this to help you get past the beginning jitters. Also, please be aware that you will not get rich with Hubpages. Some people earn a check every month, while others, like myself, get a check occasionally. It depends on how much you write, what you write, and how well you promote it.If you want to give it a try, you will be welcome!

Squidoo.com offers everyone the chance to build a single page Web site (or a dozen or more) to showcase your talents, your hobbies, or get on your soapbox and let the world know what you think needs to be done. Simple to use, you don't even have to know anything about Web design or HTML to create and post your lens (the term Squidoo uses for a Web page). One of the coolest things about Squidoo is that they pay royalties to you. You can even have the royalties paid to your favorite charity or non-profit group.Have fun!
