Fun Collectible Cookie Jars Make Great Gifts

Fun Collectible Cookie Jars are Great Gifts for Any Occasion

Cookie jars such as this Adorable Ladybug
are fun and collectible, and make great gifts for cookie jar lovers.

Whether you decorate your kitchen to be whimsical or more sedate, cookie jar canisters will definitely make a statement.

Several people in my life have been cookie jar collectors. At one time, my daughter had several with music boxes that played when the cookie jar was opened.

She even had a police officer cookie jar that shouted, "Stop, cookie thief!" every time the jar was opened.

Needless to say, the novelty wore off pretty quickly, and it was moved out of reach of the kids.

My mother-in-law loved cookie jars, and kept them filled with special treats for her grandchildren. I'll post one of her favorite cookie recipes tomorrow.

Do you prefer a more traditional
cookie jar or a themed cookie jar?

Perhaps, you prefer the more traditional type cookie jar for your kitchen. Whatever choice you make, these storage jars are good for more than just cookies.

For instance, you can use them to store dog treats (just make sure everyone knows what's in them), tea bags, or even pinto beans!

Storage is a must for any kitchen, and these jars make it fun.

Do you have a cookie jar?

Cookie Jars for Dorms

Traditionally, cookie jars are kept in the kitchen. However, there are other uses, too. For instance, how about a cookie jar in a dorm room?

It can be used to store cookies as it is in traditional kitchens. However, they can also be used to store any small objects that are needed for college.

Tape, scissors, pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, calculators, small staplers and staples, and many other things could be safely stored in a cookie jar to keep a small dorm desk uncluttered.

Or you could store snack cakes and candy in them. You might want a cookie jar that makes noise, such as the Dr. Who Tardis jar pictured here, so that you would know if your dorm mate is a 'cookie thief!'

With all the available designs, there is a cookie jar that will fit your kitchen.

And the kids of all ages in your life will always know where to find the goodies, um...cookies.

Do you prefer a traditional cookie jar or one that has a fun theme?
