Pots, Pans, and Other Kitchen Stuff
Over the past 30 years, I have had many sets of pots and pans. Currently, I have a great set by Wolfgang Puck stainless steel cookware. I love this set. There is no Teflon coating or other non-stick coating to flake off and get into my food. The stainless pans easily clean up with a stainless scrubbie pad, even when foods are burned in (thanks, son, lol). Food cooks evenly, and I can watch it cook through the glass lids.
The set is heavy enough that I expect to use it for most, if not all, of the rest of my life. I have two favorites out of the set: the 8-qt. stock pot and the 8" omelette pan. The stock pot is just the right size, whether I am cooking up a pot of spaghetti, pinto beans, stew, or just cooking a stove top pot roast. The omelette pan is the perfect size to cook eggs or even steak for one or two people.
After years of cheap cooking sets, I have finally learned that, duh, you get what you pay for. This set is designed for the professional kitchen, but is just as at home in mom's kitchen.
For my 5-year update on my cookware, see Wolfgang Puck Cookware Set.
Looking for a new cookware set for your home, or maybe looking for a wedding gift or a gift for Mom? This is a great option!
