Have you ever seen the coffee cup with the woman, hair standing on end and eyes wild, that says, "Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee" or something similar? One of my neices gave my father-in-law a Keurig Brewing System for Christmas one year. He loved it! He proudly showed it off to everyone who came by, and offered everyone a fresh cup of coffee. When I first saw it, I was skeptical that the coffee would be any good. I had tried a single cup brewing pot once, and the coffee tasted burnt to me. He showed us how to use it, then stood back to see what we thought of the coffee.

Honestly, it was delicious. Smooth, rich, and the perfect temperature: the best coffee I had ever sipped. I don't remember now which K-cup he put in the pot, so I don't know which one was so good, but I do remember that everytime we went to his house, I couldn't wait to get another cup.

During the day and evening, when I want a hot beverage, I am more likely to make a cup of tea or cocoa than I am coffee. Depending on the kind of tea, it can relax me (chamomile), wake me up (peppermint), or even help me feel better (almost all of them do this).
