Zipper Binders for Home and Home Management

Zipping binders are not just for school. There are many uses for them in the home, as well. Crafters may use them to keep track of favorite crafting patterns or notes about crafting techniques. They are useful for keeping up with bills, too, with pockets for envelopes and stamps.

They are great for extreme couponing, since you can have everything you need right there with you in the store. Especially the Case-It binder with the removable 5 tab pocket folder.

I like to use my zipper binder to store everything for a specific project. It holds my blogging planner, printed calendar pages, a calculator, and all notes compiled for my writing.

The binder shown above includes a removable 5 tab file pocket, perfect for storing current bills. The binder has both a handle and shoulder strap to make it easy to carry, and comes in purple, blue, lavender, and red.

How to Make a Home Management Binder

The home management binder in the video below is not in a zippered binder. I think it would work better if it were, since nothing would go flying across the floor it is were dropped. As clumsy as I can be at times, I really need a binder that either locks or zips. This is a great idea, though!

Zip Binders for School and Home

It's time to gather school supplies again. In my opinion, zipper binders are the best thing ever to be developed for school.

There have been so many occasions when someone, either accidentally or on purpose, knocked a binder out of a student's grasp causing papers and assignments to scatter across the floor.

Or worse, it is dropped outside in a heavy wind. It really starts the school day off wrong when you have to chase homework across campus!

With a zipping binder, these issues are no longer a concern. Even if the binder is dropped, the papers, books, and other supplies zipped inside are safely kept inside.

The binders make carrying supplies to class easy, since there are pockets for pencils, pens, calculators, and other needs.

Zip binders will fit inside a normal sized middle school or high school backpack, too. And they come in a variety of styles and colors so that all your students can have easily identifiable binders.

    With a zipper binder,
you won't have to chase your papers
if you drop the binder outside
    when the wind is blowing!

    Zipper Binders are Organizing Binders

Zipper binders have great organizational aids. For instance, almost all of them have extra sew-in pockets in the front (and sometimes in the back) to hold loose assignment papers and class hand-outs.

Some have an accordion style, and others have dedicated spots for pens, pencils, and assignment notebooks (like the Case-it zipper binders below). Some will come with dividers.

The Case-it binder shown above right has two sets of rings! It will lay flat for use on the desk, and has Velcro Hold-down pages to secure contents in place. With all the organizational features, this binder will hold everything for all your classes!
